TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Video License/Purchase

corVISION MEDIA videos carry a “sale” price which is, by definition, a long term lease. This lease is for the life of the videotape or the duration of the copyright, whichever comes first. While corVISION MEDIA, Inc. retains ownership of the videos, you are however, entitled to unlimited non-theatrical conventional video playback or closed circuit use within a single site. Charging admission, transmission by television or satellite, copying, re-editing, transforming or adapting in any manner, in whole or in part is STRICTLY PROHIBITED without prior written consent from corVISION MEDIA, Inc.

 

Video Rentals

The rental period of most videos is for a five day period unless otherwise indicated. Rental fees vary by product, and are indicated in the catalog immediately following the title description. Rental orders should be placed at least one week in advance of the requested date. Failure to do so may result in a rush charge.
You are responsible for all return shipping costs. Videos should be returned to corVISION via a traceable carrier. Failure to do so may result in your being charged the full list price of the video if it is lost in transit. Please return the video within 48 hours of the end of your rental period. The exact dates of your rental period will be indicated on your packing slip. Late video returns will be subject to a charge of $150 per week. If you wish to purchase a previously rented video, the one week rental fee (once paid), may be applied to the purchase price of a new video. Both transactions must be in a 60 day period.

 

Previews

Video programs are available for preview for purchase consideration at no charge. These previews are provided for evaluation only and may not be used for training purposes or other exhibitions. Previewing by anyone other than those employees responsible for deciding to purchase videos for training purposes is prohibited.
The free preview period is 5 days. Your responsibility is for return shipping costs. Return the video to corVISION at 872 S. Milwaukee Ave. #295, Libertyville, IL 60048 via a traceable carrier. Failure to do so may result in your being charged the full list price of the video if it is lost in transit. Please return the video within 48 hours of the end of your preview period. The exact dates of your preview period will be indicated on your packing slip. Late video returns will be subject to a charge of $150 per week.

Shipping

Unless otherwise specified, orders are shipped UPS ground service. Overnight and two-day and three- day service is available at an additional change. All shipping and handling charges will be added to your invoice.

 

Returns

Videos that have been previewed or rented and subsequently purchased cannot be returned. Damaged or incorrect shipments may be returned within 30 days of original receipt. Prior to returning a damaged or incorrect shipment, call us for a return authorization number. Books/audios/software follow the same return policy as a previously previewed or rented video. No returns will be accepted, except for damaged or incorrect shipments within a 30 day period of the original shipment.

 

Replacements

We will replace a worn or damaged videocassette that has been in your possession more than 30 days following the original date of receipt with a new videocassette of the same program. The fee for replacement is 60% of the current list price. The worn or damaged video must be returned to us prior to the replacement being shipped to you.

 

Credit

For your convenience we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Credit information and verification may be required of new accounts. Credit cards are required for orders of less than $100.00.

 

Lost/Damaged Product

You will be liable for the full list price of any videotape or DVD in your possession. Product that is subsequently lost or damaged is your responsibility. Please return previews and rentals via a traceable/ insured carrier.

 

Other Terms and Conditions

  • corVISION materials may not be reproduced in whole or in part without prior written approval.
  • All prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Payment terms are net 30 days. Interest shall be charged on amounts due at the rate of 1-1/2% per month.
  • Shipping and handling charges and any appropriate sales taxes, duties, tariffs and fees will be added to your invoice.
  • corVISION warrants that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of shipment. No other warranties express or implied exist and none shall apply.
